Conferment of TRIZ Master Degree based on a set of publications or contribution to practice.

1. On February 2, 2012, Presidium of International TRIZ Association has approved amendments to TRIZ Level 5 (TRIZ Master) Certification Regulations, which make it possible to confer TRIZ Master Degree based on a set of publications authored by TRIZ Master Degree seeker or outstanding achievements in practical application of TRIZ in the innovative activity of TRIZ Master Degree seeker. Defense of a theses based on a set of publications or contribution to practice makes in absentia participation in the work of MATRIZ Dissertation Council possible.
2. The next in absentia session of MATRIZ Dissertation Council is scheduled for May 28, 2012. Applications for the conferment of TRIZ Master Degree based on a set of publications authored by TRIZ Master Degree seeker or outstanding achievements in practical application of TRIZ in the innovative activity of TRIZ Master Degree seeker will be discussed during this session. Applications from TRIZ Master Degree seeker must be sent to the MATRIZ Dissertation Council no later than April 29, 2012.
3. Applications can be submitted both from TRIZ Master Degree seeker and regional MATRIZ organization, to which he/she belongs.
4. An application from a TRIZ Master Degree seeker should include a letter (of optional form) addressed to MATRIZ President with a request to consider an application regarding conferment of TRIZ Master Degree based on a set of publications or contribution to practice, number of TRIZ Level 4 Certificate (if any), CV of TRIZ Master Degree seeker (including his/her contact information and photograph) plus a list of enclosed materials. Notification about TRIZ Level 4 Certificate is for information purpose only and does not represent a criterion for decision making. The following information materials must be submitted together with the application:

For conferment of TRIZ Master Degree based on outstanding achievements in practical application of TRIZ in the inventive and innovative activity.

· List of published scientific articles dealing with TRIZ issues (no less than 20). Published book or monograph on TRIZ is equivalent to five publications.
· List and abstracts of published patents authored by TRIZ Master Degree seeker with indication of methodological aspects of TRIZ application,
· List of training seminars on TRIZ taught by TRIZ Master Degree seeker (no less than 40 hours each),
· Written recommendations of no less than 7 (seven) TRIZ Masters.

· List and abstracts of published patents authored by TRIZ Master Degree seeker (no less than 10),
· List of innovative projects, in which a TRIZ Master Degree seeker took active part (no less than 10),
· Several (2-3) non-confidential case studies of strong and efficient solutions worked out by TRIZ Master Degree seeker,
· Copies of articles and written opinions regarding practical use of inventions authored by TRIZ Master Degree seeker, results of innovative projects, in which a TRIZ Master Degree seeker took active part (including implemented products and technologies, obtained economic effect and so forth),
· Brief information (4-5 pages) on methodological aspects of TRIZ application in the practical work of a TRIZ Master Degree seeker,
· Written recommendations of no less than 7 (seven) TRIZ Masters.

5. Decision of fees for the consideration of applications is made by MATRIZ Presidium individually for each TRIZ Master Degree seeker.
6. An application must be sent no later than April 29, 2012 and it should be addressed to: MATRIZ President, Chairman of MATRIZ Dissertation Council and Academic Secretary of MATRIZ Dissertation Council.
