Preparation to TRIZfest-2012 and TDS-2012
Dear colleagues,
1. The preparation to the TRIZfest-2012 Conference held by the International TRIZ Association in Finland at the Lappeenranta University of Technology on August 2-4, 2012 is going on. The Conference itself will be held on August 2-3, 2012, and defense of theses for the TRIZ Master Degree will be held on August 4, 2012. Official information on TRIZfest-2012 is presented at web sites http://www.lut.fi/trizfest2012 and http://www.matriz.org/start.php?mlang=1&p=-1&t=-1 .
It is preferable to submit materials for the Conference in English, but it is allowed to submit applications and papers in Russian – the latter will be reviewed and published in a separate collection of works. Most likely, papers in Russian will be presented at special "Russian-language" workshop.
Though it is possible to submit papers written in Russian, the Organizational Committee urges potential participants to write and publish their papers in English - this is important for the dissemination of TRIZ in the world, for promotion of worldwide scientific discussion and for self-improvement. Let us emphasize that for the first time TRIZfest will be held out of Russia.
The deadline for abstract submission is March 1, 2012. The abstracts should be submitted in any format (no more than 1 page of text). They should contain the following data - paper title, author(s) name(s), brief information on paper content (what was studied and what results were obtained) and bibliography. The papers should be sent via E-mail to the E-mail address: trizfestpapers@matriz.org .
2. The meeting of the Dissertation Council of MA TRIZ dedicated to the defense of theses will be held in Lappeenranta on August 4, 2012. Simultaneous translation (Russian-English, English-Russian) will be arranged during the meeting of the Dissertation Council. Information about application for thesis defense is presented at web site http://www.triz-summit.ru/redirect.php?id=205258 . We are urging those who are planning to submit his/her thesis in 2012 to do it as early as possible. The deadline for submission is March 15, 2012. The Organizational Committee plans to admit no more than 5 (five) applications for thesis defense. The current TRIZ Master Certification Regulations for the 5th Level (TRIZ Master) is presented at web site http://triz-summit.ru/redirect.php?id=203990 . The applications should be sent via E-mail to E-mail addresses of MA TRIZ President, Chairman of the Dissertation Council and Academic Secretary of the Dissertation Council (Sergei.Ikovenko@GEN3.com, Simon.Litvin@GEN3.com , mik-rubin@yandex.ru).
3. By now 12 (twelve) applications for participation in the TRIZ Developers Summit with papers devoted to secondary problems were submitted to the Organizational Committee (http://www.triz-summit.ru/redirect.php?id=205327 ) plus 5 (five) applications with papers devoted to ARIZ of new generation. Applications with papers devoted to ARIZ and discussion of them can be found at web site http://www.triz-summit.ru/redirect.php?id=205266 . TRIZ Developers Summit will be held on July 31 and August 1, 2012 in Saint Petersburg. Only authors of submitted papers will take part in the sessions of TRIZ Developers Summit.
We are asking TRIZ-community members to send this Information Letter to colleagues involved in TRIZ activity and post it on TRIZ-related websites.
