About

TRIZ Developers Summit (TDS) is one of the main annual events of the International TRIZ Community. The next TDS will be organized by the International Council of TRIZ Masters, TRIZ Developers Summit Organization, and Minsk TRIZ Club in online format. General sponsor of TDS is EPAM Systems, Inc.

• TRIZ in Education section (including TRIZ Cup) – August, 13-15, 2021
• TRIZ in IT, technology, and business section – September, 9-10, 2021

Languages: English, Russian. Simultaneous translation will be available.

In 2021 G.S. Altshuller - author of TRIZ - would have turned 95 years old. According to this date the slogan of TDS-2021 is “G.S. Altshuller is the founder of the use of TRIZ outside of technology”.

For Participants

If you are a professional TRIZ developer, engineer, IT-specialist, teacher or entrepreneur, if you use TRIZ in your practice, or you are a newcomer in TRIZ, you can participate in TDS-2021.

Section content and schedule:

August 13-14 - TRIZ Cup - competition for schoolchildren teams that won the regional qualifying tournaments. Information on TRIZ Cup will be provided additionally.

August 15 - main day of the section for reports, master classes and summarizing of TRIZ Cup.

Topics for the reports;

- experience of teaching TRIZ for children and adults;

- experience in holding contests and competitions in TRIZ;

- experience in applying the development of the TRIZ knowledge assessment system “Icarus and Daedalus” in TRIZ education;

- methodological issues of TRIZ application in education;

- the work of G.S. Altshuller dedicated to training

TRIZ in IT, technology, and business
(in English and Russian with simultaneous translation)

September, 9-10, 2021

Moderators: Mikhail Rubin, TRIZ Master; Igor Devoino, TRIZ Master; Andrei Kuryan, 4-th level TRIZ specialist.

Topics:

1. TRIZ in IT and technology
   1. Application of TRIZ at industrial enterprises, in IT companies and start-ups;
   2. Theoretical aspects of the application of TRIZ in the IT domain;
   3. General issues of TRIZ application in engineering and IT;
   4. History, practice of application and development of ARIZ in solving inventive problems.
2. TRIZ in Business
   1. Various aspects of the inventive problem solving in business and management;
   2. Tools for identifying the inventive problems in business and management;
   3. New tools for solving inventive problems in business and management;
   4. Transition of classical TRIZ tools to business and management domain;
   5. Laws and regularities in business and management system development;
   6. General issues of TRIZ application in business and management;
   7. Application of ARIZ for solving inventive problems in business and management.

Schedule for Authors

Requirements

TDS-2021 Program Committee is going to publish the reports in Conference Proceedings. Also, individual reports will be published in international peer-reviewed journals. In accordance with these conditions, the Program Committee has defined the following reporting requirements.

Requirements for the report in COnference Proceedings

The abstract of the report should contain:

• a description of a clearly defined novelty, method and result;
• at least 250 words;
• lack of quotes;
• keywords (at least 3 keywords).

The full article should contain:

• Name
• Annotation (see above for annotation requirements);
• Sections
• Text with illustrations of at least 4 pages;
• Literature references in the text
• References without self-citation.

Requirements for the report for publication in the journal

• The report in the form of an article has not been previously published or reviewed in another journal.
• The volume of the submitted article is not less than 4 and not more than 10 pages.
• Defined structure and links:
• Title. The title of the article should describe the purpose, method / model and purpose of the research without acronym and abbreviation.
• An abstract can contain no more than 250 words; no citation; the main goal, research plan, methodology, main results and conclusions, novelty are summarized.
• Keywords. At least 3 keywords.
• Section structure. We invite authors to place their articles in the structure of sections: Introduction - Method - Results and discussion - Conclusion.
• References. At least 10 links. APA format. Citation itself - no more than 10%.
