Algorithm for Selecting TRIZ Tools

TRIZ has many tools. It is for beginner solvers to select a specific TRIZ tool, or group of tools and the sequence of their use during the project.
This paper presents the attempt to show consistency in using of various tools for three types of problems:
· Synthesis of the new system.
· Improvement of the existing system.
· System development forecast.
This sequential process was developed as an algorithm presented in the flowchart below.
The paper will describe the proposed algorithm in more details.
