Minutes of in absentia meeting of MA TRIZ Dissertation Council on the issue of conferment of TRIZ Master Degree based on a set on publications or contribution to practice. Approved at the session of MA TRIZ Presidium held on June 8, 2012   

 

 

 

1. An absentee meeting of the MATRIZ Dissertation Council was held via Skype on Monday - May 28, 2012. 
MATRIZ Dissertation Council (hereinafter referred to as DC was established by MATRIZ Presidium and the following persons were appointed as its members:

3.     A.Gin, Belorussia/Russia
4.     A.Zusman, USA
5.     V.Kudryavtsev, Russia
6.     S.Litvin, USA (Chairman)
7.     V.Petrov, Israel
8.     A.Pinyaev, USA
9.     M.Rubin, Russia (Academic Secretary)
10.V.Sibiryakov, Russia
11.V.Fei, USA
12. N.Shpakovskiy, Belorussia/Korea.
 
2. S.Litvin informed DC members about amendments to the TRIZ Master Certification Regulations introduced by MATRIZ Presidium during the time passed after the previous DC meeting. These amendments dealt with the issue of conferment of TRIZ Master Degree based on a set of publications and outstanding contribution to TRIZ practice.  
It was decided that only those DC members would take part in voting procedure, who did not give recommendations for the TRIZ Master Degree candidates to be voted. According to TRIZ Master Certification Regulations currently in effect, a decision is taken by simple majority of votes of DC members taking part in the voting procedure.  
 
3. The following candidates were included in the agenda for the DC meeting: Boris Goldovskiy, Mark Barkan, Jim Bradley, Yury Danilovskiy, Vasiliy Lenyashin and Valeriy Prushinskiy. The materials of submitted applications were distributed among all DC members in advance.   
 
4. The application for conferment of TRIZ Master Degree based on a set of published scientific studies submitted by B. Goldovskiy was put to the vote first. 
Eight DC members took part in the voting procedure and eight of them voted "aye". Decision on conferment of TRIZ Master Degree to B. Goldovskiy was taken unanimously.   
 
5. Then the application for conferment of TRIZ Master Degree for the outstanding contribution to TRIZ practice and success in inventive and innovative activity submitted by M. Barkan was put to the vote. 
Eleven DC members took part in the voting procedure and eleven of them voted "aye". Decision on conferment of TRIZ Master Degree to M. Barkan was taken unanimously.   
 
6. Then the application for conferment of TRIZ Master Degree for the outstanding contribution to TRIZ practice and success in inventive and innovative activity submitted by Jim Bradley was put to the vote. 
Seven DC members took part in the voting procedure and five of them voted "aye", while two of them abstained. Decision on conferment of TRIZ Master Degree to Jim Bradley was taken by majority of votes.   
 
 
7. Then the application for conferment of TRIZ Master Degree for the outstanding contribution to TRIZ practice and success in inventive and innovative activity submitted by Yu. Danilovskiy was put to the vote. 
Eleven DC members took part in the voting procedure and eleven of them voted "aye". Decision on conferment of TRIZ Master Degree to Yu. Danilovskiy was taken unanimously.   
 
 
8. Then the application for conferment of TRIZ Master Degree for the outstanding contribution to TRIZ practice and success in inventive and innovative activity submitted by V. Lenyashin was put to the vote. 
Ten DC members took part in the voting procedure and ten of them voted "aye". Decision on conferment of TRIZ Master Degree to M. V. Lenyashin was taken unanimously.   
 
9. Then the application for conferment of TRIZ Master Degree for the outstanding contribution to TRIZ practice and success in inventive and innovative activity submitted by V. Prushinskiy was put to the vote. 
Twelve DC members took part in the voting procedure and twelve of them voted "aye". Decision on conferment of TRIZ Master Degree to V. Prushinskiy was taken unanimously.   
 
10. Recommendations on changes and amendments to the TRIZ Master Certification Regulations were proposed for DC members in the end of DC meeting. It was also proposed to send all recommendations in written to the DC Chairman. 
 
11. DC Chairman and DC Academic Secretary were offered to write minutes of the DC meeting and submit the minutes to MATRIZ Presidium for approval.
