Trends of Engineering System Evolution within the Framework of S-Curve Analysis.

As it is known, the Trends of Engineering System Evolution (TESE) are statistically proven directions of Engineering System (ES) development that describe the natural transitions of Engineering Systems from one state to another. TESE serve as a major tool for technology forecasting based on TRIZ and any ES is considered to evolves along these trends as a need from the market arises.
However, it seems that depending on the position of the ES on the S-curve, some trends may be considered predominant at the specific S-curve stage while others do not reveal themselves aggressively. As the ES moved to a different S-curve stage the set of predominant trends changes.
The paper elaborates of the usage of the TESE within the framework of S-curve analysis.
